Account Representative

MMS is seeking Account Representatives with an excellent work ethic and a desire to earn a professional's income. Our preference is people from the POS software industry who have previous MMS POS software experience and/or proven account management and customer service experience. A professional attitude and willingness to learn is essential. You would be responsible for managing and servicing current MMS customer accounts.

Computer Programmer

MMS is looking for Linux/Unix C Programmers. You would be involved with projects that enhance our retail management software in Linux, Unix and Windows. Assets would include experience and/or knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, socket programming, Delphi , ISAM libraries, SQL/ODBC, Access Forms and Reports, Crystal Reports, Unix shell scripting, PHP, Perl, HTTP, XML/XSL and Linux/Unix kernels. Formal post-secondary technical institute training, a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with two years C programming is desired. Functional knowledge of various hardware components is required.

Customer Service Representatives and Managers

MMS is seeking Customer Service Representatives and Managers experienced with end-user support. You would be called upon to answer, categorize and dispatch incoming support calls. You would also be responsible for call follow-up to ensure high-quality customer service, and for generating and analyzing related management reports. Technical help-desk experience required. Demonstrated team-work would be a definite asset.

Software Engineer/Project Manager

As a Software Engineer/Project Manager in our Programming Department, you would plan, design, and develop new features for, and enhancements of our retail management software system. Experience in Unix C and SQL is mandatory, as well as excellent problem-solving ability. Other assets would include XML/XSL, Delphi, Access, Crystal Reports, Red Hat Linux, SCO, HTTP programming, web services, CORBA, and GUI design. Additionally, a strong background in the retail industry, and knowledge of or experience with OPOS, JavaPOS and/or ARTS standards is desirable. The Software Engineer/Project Manager requires strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and leadership skills with demonstrated ability in project management.

Trainers/Implementers

MMS is seeking people to train and lead implementation of the MMS retail management/accounting software. The most desirable candidates have experience installing and training on retail software systems, and have basic computer software and hardware knowledge. We will consider applicants who have knowledge of, and experience with, the retail industry and basic accounting principles.

Computer Technicians

MMS is seeking Computer Technicians experienced with end-user support in networked environments. You would be called upon to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and support x86 workstations, and firewalls and servers for LANs and WANs on a variety of operating systems including Linux, Unix and Windows. Experience with Unix shell scripting is required. Assets would include experience with and/or knowledge of network support, network administration, mail servers, web servers, DNS servers, proxy servers, SCO, C and Delphi.

Cellular/Wireless Customer Care Representative

MMS is seeking a Cellular Customer Care Representative experienced with end-user support to work with our Cellular/Wireless customers throughout North America. You would be called upon to analyze detailed contracts, manage customer plans, answer customer questions, and generated detailed reports. You would also be responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service and would work daily with an advisory group and company owners.
